“Shortly after finding out we were expecting, Kevin was offered an amazing career opportunity. However, this meant moving across the country and away from family, friends and my childhood hometown. West Texas is where our story started and will always be a part of our lives. We were lucky enough to be able to schedule our maternity session during one of our first visits back home. I’m so grateful we will be able to share these photos with our daughter someday, knowing they were taken where it all began for us. Although I pray we create a first home for her that she will always cherish, this girl is going to be a Texan at heart!
It was important for me to capture this sweet time in our marriage. As much as I’m dying to finally lay eyes on our little girl, I’m even more ready to see my husband become a father. Kevin and I began dating as teenagers, and I remember the two of us daydreaming about what it would be like to be married and have a family someday. I still can’t believe the time is finally here. This pregnancy is truly our dreams coming to life and an answer to so many years of prayer. Josh did an amazing job of capturing our love for each other and the joy and excitement we are feeling during this sweet time.
When Kevin and I were first married, we had no set plans on when we wanted to start our family. Because the nature of our careers came with the possibility of relocating, it seemed like a good idea to wait. Eventually, however, we realized that any goal or milestone we hoped to achieve would always come second to our shared dream of becoming parents. Jaryn, Expectant Mother
