“In the midst of home renovations and the impending arrival of their first child, Jessa and Brian escaped to Big Sur for a “babymoon” and asked me to document a relaxed, joyful and laid-back maternity session. The weather and the beach could not have been more perfect for this late-fall session. They are the sweetest couple and I know they will be the best parents!

Documenting maternity sessions for first-time parents always takes me back to those exciting few months before I welcomed my first baby. It is such an exciting time tied up with so many different emotions – anticipation, nervousness, fear, excitement – there are just too many emotions to name. You know that life will never be the same, but at the same time you don’t know exactly what this “new” life will look like. There are very few experiences like that, so it’s always a joy and honor to be welcomed into my clients’ lives during this special time.
