“Bali is a very special and fateful place for me. More than 5 years ago I met my future husband here and after that meeting all my plans collapsed and my life changed once and for all. We were engaged on the top of the volcano Batur.  I got pregnant shortly after and spent all of my pregnancy on this magical island. My little one was born November 2014 in Denpasar and that was the most beautiful experience I have ever had. After her birth my confidence that this place is the perfect place to raise a baby grew steadily.

My baby girl is a real ocean girl. I think it was love at the first sight. She started to swim when she was only a year old without any fear of water.  It made me so proud of her. One of the most important reasons for me to continue this journey with my husband in Bali are the open-hearted and sincere Balinese people who surround us. “Since becoming a mother myself I have seen family photographs in a different light. I start to realize more and more of the fleeting nature of time and how quick our children grow up. In the midst of routines, tantrums and the sleepless nights, it’s almost too easy to forget to stop and remember every moment of these precious beings growing up. I am now really fond of capturing the little moments during a family session, I look for the things I would love to see and remember as a mom, The family in these images is from Russia and they have a beautiful baby girl who was almost one in these photographs.
