“Motherhood is the essence of life. Life begins inside her, and is born from her. Throughout life, mothers are there to hold their children hands, nurse and nurture them, and guide them. To celebrate mothers is to celebrate life, and in this maternity session we wanted to amplify everything that was about life. With flowers blooming everywhere, and a fresh basket of flowers in hand, our mama Lexi soaked in all the fresh spring air rolling down off the blue mountains. New life was everywhere, including the one she was holding inside of her. The birds sang, the flowers waved in the wind, and a spring rain shower rolled in right afterward, to water the ground for more growing things. New life was everywhere.”
