“There are some families that you know from the very first email you are going to love. This family is one of them. I walked in to their home and fell in love even more. Their sense of style, warm hearts, and real love made for this session to be one of my all time favorites. We laughed and chatted through out the entire session. I could have stayed all day, and almost did!

You never know what parents have to go through to become a family. When I’m chosen to capture a moment in time that they have been praying for, whether it’s been 4 weeks or 4 years, I am beyond humbled. I never take for granted how much these images mean to families.  While I am photographing mothers with their babies, I keep my own family in mind. I photograph the moments that I want forever imprinted in my own mind ~ moments that I want in my albums and on my walls. Raising babies is hard, and tiring, but it’s so beautiful and fleeting.
