“Capturing Charmenie, her husband Edmond and baby Isla was so fun because they’re like an extension of my own family. I met Charmenie and Edmond many years ago and I have had the honour of capturing not only their engagement, wedding and maternity photos, but also their very first family photos! We timed the day perfectly so that baby Isla had had her feeding and was mellow when I came over!

As a photographer, capturing Isla’s early moments in this world, her tender and innocent moments, and the unconditional love they display through something timeless like medium format film was indescribable. The adoration a mother and father have for their precious child is simply breathtaking.

I loved how clean and minimalistic their home was for this session. It was timeless beauty being captured by a timeless art. This will forever be one of my favourite family sessions to date.
