“I always imagined that I would one day become a mother. After marrying my husband, we hoped for a baby, we wished for a baby, we prayed for a baby. But we didn’t quite anticipate what a long and hard road we would have to travel in order to see our dreams come true. But now here we are! When I stare into our son’s bright blue eyes, touch his silky smooth skin, and listen to his infectious laugh, I know, without pause or hesitation, that he was well worth the wait. He is our whole entire world. Being his mother has been both the greatest pleasure and the best adventure. I love him so much I could cry!
Becoming a mother has turned my world upside down and inside out. Things that never mattered before, matter. Worries I never had before, I have. I am different now. It’s hard to articulate. But I am so much better, and stronger and kinder. And I have him to thank.
Don’t get me wrong…it isn’t always easy. My house is often messy, my hair often goes unwashed, and I require a cup of coffee (which is usually cold by the time I get to it) to function in the morning. But I am so completely and incandescently happy. My son is the best thing that has ever happened to me, and I am eternally grateful.
“No one else will ever know the strength of my love for you. After all, you are the only one who knows what my heart sounds like from the inside”. Claire, Mother
“The absolute sweetest of clients that became some incredibly special friends. From newlyweds, to parents-to-be, to the world’s cutest little fam jam of 3…I’m just the luckiest to continue capturing so many of this beautiful families most special moments. In a sense it can be truly effortless as there’s nothing more beautiful and natural then a mother doing what she does best. As long as I place my subjects in the most ideal locations for lighting and backdrop, I just want them to feel relaxed and at ease and able to just carry on connecting with and completely adoring their little ones.” Jacqueline, Photographer
