“We moved to LA from NYC in 2017 and when we found out we were having our second babe we decided to move back to our original roots (Pittsburgh, PA) to be with family. We were absolutely in love with LA, and Malibu especially had an extremely special place in our hearts. It’s where we spent every weekend, where we taught our daughter how to hike, where she spent her first birthday, where we even rescued our puppy and named her Malibu! I knew before we moved back home we had to get family photos of our special time in Malibu and there’s no one else we would have rather taken them than Val Glidden, who had became such an incredible friend to me and our family during our time in LA. I wanted to always remember that feeling of being in those mountains, the three of us in anticipation of becoming a family of four – just taking in the beauty of California and soaking it all in. The images that Val captured for us beyond exceeded that. Every time I look at them I feel those moments – I feel my second daughter kicking as I look at the images of Sienna hugging and kissing my belly, I hear her laughing as I see us holding hands and running through one of our favorite places in the world, and I feel all that love when I see the images of us snuggled up and smiling so hard our cheeks hurt. I can’t thank Val enough for capturing something so special to us in these beautiful images.

Motherhood…Where do I start!?! Our little girls have become our whole world and in return I want to show them the whole world! I remember thinking before I had my first daughter that I can’t imagine the kind of love I will have for her and then it was the most incredibly overwhelming love that I couldn’t even put it into words. And then feeling the same with my second, and it was the exact same incredible love that just took my breath away and left me speechless.
