“This beautiful family was in the midst of some home renovations and asked if we could shoot close by in their sweet, little Bay Area town. The mama mentioned that she was eager to capture their family together with their (2) french bulldogs, who played such a big part in their lives ~ she said they were honestly like sisters to her daughter Dylan. So we met up in the gardens around the corner from their home, frenchies and all! When I rounded the corner that day and saw little Dylan, standing so sweetly in her little sundress, with a leashed pup in each hand, my heart swelled. She looked so calm standing there with them … her mom to the left and her dad to the right. The sweetest little family of five.

We walked through the gardens, chatting and enjoying the sun and all the lovely flowers. Its amazing what you can learn about people in such a short amount of time. Their words about the love they shared for their daughter pulled at my heart in so many ways. The way they gently knelt beside her when they spoke, they way they placed their hand on her back, guiding her as we walked and the way their eyes looked when they spoke about her spoke volumes. I remember thinking what a lucky little girl, to be loved so deeply.” Tara, Photographer
