“I wanted to have tender and light photos that express my feelings – the deep love for my husband and coming child. These pictures will stay with us for life as a memory, so it was important to me to find a good photographer. Liza did portrait sessions for my two sisters and I immediately thought of her for this.  It was very easy and comfortable to work with Liza. “I first met Julia when I photographed her two sisters. When Julia told me that she was pregnant and wanted me to do her maternity session, I just couldn’t say no and decided to highlight this happy moment for the family. Julia and I started by choosing a location that was special to her – an urban park very close to their house.  Julia wanted a place that would reflect all the tenderness she was feeling while they waited for their baby to arrive. I completely understood this, because I was expecting a baby as well.

The moments represented in these images are now just a memory, but they are a memory that will be shared for generations. Not only did I get to help preserve these memories, but Julia and I have built a friendship.  Our babies were born only two weeks apart, so we are able to bounce questions off of each other and share baby news.
