“The recent pandemic has effected life in a multitude of ways. For this first time expectant mother, celebratory events and being able to share the last few months of this precious season were impacted. This maternity portrait session was a gift from her mom as a way to document this time when family and friends couldn’t be near. It was amazing to get to know Christy and David through this session. They got married a year ago and are expecting their son right on time for their anniversary. I loved capturing their beautiful connection with each other. These two were up for anything and felt like old friends from minute one, so it made my job extra easy. As the mom of two, I know how fleeting the season of anticipation is.
