“I’ve always wanted to be a mother. From a very young age, I knew that I wanted to rock babies in my arms and raise a family with someone I loved. I feel so lucky that years later I am able to fulfill that dream, as Nathan’s wife and Averett’s mother. And while this has always been a dream of mine, I know that I still have so much to learn about motherhood. I know there will be ups and downs and moments that challenge me to my core. But I also know that the joy of motherhood is already unparalleled by anything else I have ever experienced. Carrying this tiny human is a privilege and a gift, and I pray that The Lord will help shape me to be the best mother I can be to this sweet boy.

Getting to do this maternity session with The Mallorys was so special to us. Not only are Bethany and Aaron incredibly kind people with huge hearts, but they are also extremely talented. We knew we wanted to celebrate this chapter by having photos that we could always look back on; photos that would make us smile thinking about our growing family. We wanted to have tangible reminders of what our life looked like as we waited in anticipation for our son to enter this world.
