“There are a few times in life when you cross paths with people who truly inspire you. Alexandria Smith is one of those people.  Her devotion to her children and her ability to capture motherhood for what it is, is truly inspiring. She has photographed mothers in all seasons of life and her ability to tell their story is what makes her such a talented artist. When the opportunity presented itself for me to capture a few images of her with her youngest child, I felt absolutely drawn to her energy.  In my time with Alex, my biggest takeaway was this: every mother wants to be seen, and if you can capture that for her, it will be her biggest treasure.
