“We met up at this gorgeous family owned olive grove on a summer night in July. The lighting was perfect as the sun continued to dip into the horizon, providing that beautiful golden glow for photos. Mama chose to wear a delicate floral dress, and it was the perfect color to compliment the trees around them. It was such a joy to photograph Olivia and Marc and they prepare to welcome their first baby girl into the world.

I am nothing short of stunned every time I get the opportunity to photograph expecting mothers- they’re beauty and strength speaks such volumes to me. Sustaining life is no easy feat, but women do it with such grace, and they are nothing short of heroes because of it. I also am in awe of how amazing that little new life already is, because of their mother. And how even before she has had the chance to meet them she already has a sense of who they are and loves him or her so much.
