From the editor:  This session by Val Glidden was so filled with breathtaking images, that there really was not a way to share them in just one post. We’ve decided to share them over two installments. In this installment, we are featuring images of Mallory and Mallory and her husband. In the next installment, we’ll be sharing images of Mallory, her husband and their darling little boy.

“During her first pregnancy, Mallory was unable to have maternity photos. At 20 weeks she and her husband received the difficult news that the baby wasn’t getting enough nutrients through the umbilical cord. Only three weeks later, she was hospitalized and their miracle baby boy was born at 29 weeks. This pregnancy has been much different for Mallory and her family. It was such a joy that they were able to document this season of life while she hugged and loved on her sweet boy while waiting with joy for her second baby.
