“Motherhood makes you question everything! However, there’s one thing I never questioned – I knew I wanted to document all stages of this beautiful journey. The pregnancy, the birth, all the milestones. If there is one thing that motherhood has taught me is that it all.goes.by.so. quickly. It feels like it was yesterday that we were announcing our first pregnancy and I can’t believe our secondborn will be turning six months in a couple of weeks.

The images that we’ve taken over the years make it possible for me to relive my motherhood journey. I’m able to remember and pull certain memories from my mind. The tangible prints allow me to wander back to that specific time and feel the way I was feeling back at that moment. When you’re in the thick of it raising children, it can feel like a blur!

We’re so thankful to have had the opportunity to have Amber capture this exciting time in our lives! She was so patient with our very energetic toddler, She also helped guide us through the session while capturing our soon-to-be family of four in such a magical way. Amber is a true artist and her exquisite eye for detail made for some incredible photos that speak for themselves. We will cherish them for years to come and we look forward to our next session!

I think pregnancy is such a wonderful, beautiful time in one’s life and the biggest blessing is the promise of a new life that it means. Being a mom to two precious girls helps me realize that there are not many things that can compare to the sweet baby that is yours to raise and share a life with.

If I was to share one piece of advice with any expecting, new mom or wishing to become one – be patient. Be patient with your children, with your significant other, and more importantly with yourself. Motherhood and photographing little ones can both be challenging.
